This little one lives just up the road from us, next to the meadow full of daisies.I took a walk up there and caught the owners just about to leave for a hospital visit. I asked if I could take some photos of the horses and they happily gave me free rein of the paddock while they were away. The horses were not at all interested in me but this little one wouldn't leave me alone. I must have spent a good hour there, it was the most delightful little pony, happy to nuzzle up and cuddle, and so curious about the camera. This was taken without looking, I just put the camera on the floor, pointed, pressed and hoped.
I will probably post another one tomorrow and ask your opinion on the better one as I would like to have one printed on a card to thank them for their kindness. I don't think many would allow a stranger to wander around. (I made extra sure I secured the gate well, Gary's sister once had a Shetland pony and it was a master escape artist)
This is a wonderful image. That perspective leads the imagination to think about the curiosity of the animal! Marvelous shot and I like this one best of all the others because of the comic effect on it's legs.
