We have a potted tree in the living room. We thought it was dead. So dead that I had been instructed to remove it from the premises. Which, it being in a very heavy pot, I may have been lacking in enthusiasm to carry out. So much so that I may have let it slip my mind. Fast forward to today, when I think maybe I ought to get around to it, and I see this bud, and a few more just like it. Maybe I'll drag my feet just a little bit more.

A lot of trees, bushes and plants respond to this kind of pruning so give it some water, a little plant food and lots of love. You may be rewarded with an even prettier version this time around!
