We started off our trip with a bit of a detour to Clarksville, TN. One of our last stops there was here, at the Old Glory Distilling Co. It was a bit late when we got there, and had better weather than this photo would lead you to believe, but despite the hour it was a nice place to visit.
Hobbiest photographer with occasional delusions of grandeur, and several cats. Several years here on 365 project, after a few years on Shuttercal before that. You...
That would be an interesting place to visit and to photograph-- even though I don't really drink that often. I really like the brickwork here- and the signs pretty cool too.
I can only agree with Ann (except the drinking, only wine though) Love the old brick building and style. I do recall that there was a song "take the last train to Clarksville" so it must be an interesting place to visit.
@olivetreeann Yes, I loved the brickwork and the whole building. Wish I had gotten there in time for a tour, but instead only a tasting. I'm not much of a whiskey drinker, but what I tasted seemed good to me. Thank you! @ludwigsdiana Lol, yes, was definitely thinking of that song. But Clarksville is very built up and congested now, so not a place to visit often I don't think. And I never did find the train station. Thank you! @wakelys Yes, I was pretty happy with it once I got it off the camera. Thank you! @k9photo Yeah, I do like the light on it. Thank you!
