What a strange coincidence, but yesterday I posted a picture of 4 old cameras. We have also the type you are showing here, but it is a kodak.
Do you know more about the types I posted yesterday?
@johannaf All four are medium format cameras dating from the late 40's through to the early 50's. Some of them will take 120 roll film which is still available. some will take 620 roll film which isn't However you can convert 120 film to fit 620 cameras with a pair of nail clippers and a bit of sandpaper. Have you tried them, are the shutters still working. If they are, you ought to run a roll of film through them and see what comes out. You even download the manuals for them. It's great fun playing with these old cameras.
Wonderful working history! Thanks for all the info from you and @johannaf . I have two old camera from my dad so need to follow up and get them out! fav
That is amazing. There is no living room set to be passed on or even a dinner service .... everyone wants new every few years so we don't cherish well made.
I have my parents old box brownie and hadn't really thought what age it was, other than old. i am amazed you have used it...and so successfully. I reckon most of the digital cameras these days have very short life spans.
