I quite like a bit of bunting to be honest. Particularly this sort, as it is the Cornish flag.
It is known as the St. Piran flag.
Speaking of which, us Pirates of St. Piran spent the day in Fowey today as part of the Fowey Regatta. We were chased by redcoats, fired cannon and flintlocks at them and generally caused total mayhem in the town. W ended the day with a rocky sea shanty set to entertain the crowds.
I could have taken some fabulous shots....... but sadly pulling out a modern camera does rather spoil our 18th century authenticity....... and I was also far too busy trying to evade capture and avoid being put before a firing squad. So you get some bunting instead. Sorry. :)
Ooooo I want some of that bunting. String it all over for St Piran's Day come next March. Ah, well. I totally understand the lack of more photos. You have your priorities straight. Stay alive today to take more photos tomorrow.
One day you'll nominate one of the crowd to send you a copy of their photos - or you'll ask one of us to come along and commit the event to photographic evidence!
