People ask me "Billy, what's an old rocker like you doing playing sea shanties in a pirate band?"
I usually tell them it's because of my love of traditional folk music and that I am on a mission to breath new life into these old songs and rock them up so that they will be appreciated by a younger generation.
But when I'm on stage and I look out over a sea of beautiful buxom dancing pirate wenches........ In my heart of hearts...... I know the real reason....... It's a pirates life for me. :)
