A catfish is someone having a fake online persona for the purpose of duping someone into a romantic relationship, grooming, bullying, or scamming, or maybe they are just lonely and have low self-esteem...! .. Telltale signs might be; A blurry or low resolution profile photo, not showing the whole face, wearing a hat ,.is a profile photo that has been taken from another location online, has a white background..looks staged or too perfect, or unbelievably drop-dead gorgeous!
