The ship on the left is the Grayhound which has now taken up residence in Charlestown Harbour. It is a replica of an 18th century English lugger built using a set of original plans from the time. It was built in Millbrook and launched back in 2012.
I am very happy to see her here, as Us Pirates of St. Piran performed at her launch and therefore have a deal of affection for her. We hope to continue our association with her over the coming years now she is in our back yard.
Is she there for the winter I wonder......I would imagine this type of ship would lie low in the winter months. Love your black & white shot, the masts look excellent against the sky.
