After a 'quiet day' of only 15,000 steps, since we were working all morning, Junko and I did another series of photo walks starting with the renovated administration building of the university. It's a grand structure built in the 1700s and recently restored after damage during WWII. Interesting history to see what had become of the building and the process to bring it back. The interior is quite spectacular so you'll see it again!
I was so appreciative of your response to the spiral staircase from the castle visit. Thanks for continuing to comment even while I'm not able to return the favor except sporadically. We are off to Krakow tomorrow for two days so new adventures ahead.

John's iPhone counts the number of his steps and he's so proud if he does 100! I tell him, only 15,000 is acceptable! Wow Krakow! You will want to get kracking!
Definitely a long hallway and on first glance I thought university. I love the light through the windows and the building through the first window. Great in b&w.
Really, really, really like this! And B&W is likely far more striking than color would have been! The light-rectangles on the floor and walls (okay, they're really probably parallelograms, but let's not be ridiculous here, Thom), the arches, the unlit light fixtures hanging from the ceiling — it's all wonderful!
Lots to enjoy here, the light the perspective created by the diminishing repeated shapes and convergence, but for me the icing on the cake is the that the corridor is angled to create a more dynamic image.
