Just some beach berry plant that had a single red leaf. I actually was trying to take macros of insects but by my posting the red leaf, you can guess how those turned out!
Thanks for your kind comments especially on the multiple exposure shot. Those are really fun to do, though totally challenging to compose in-camera.
Great use of sc Taffy! Keep trying with the insect macros . I find if there is a slight breeze you will get a blurry macro shot especially if you try to go too close. Sometime better to back up a bit makeing sure you have high speed to get the max frames per second from your camera. As you are full framed you will be able to crop in tightly and not loose detail. I bet you will get higher percentage in focus this way. Of course if the insect is on something not blowing in the breeze you may be able to get closer but start taking your shots and then move closer. I hope you don't think I am trying to make my grandmother to suck eggs ( I think that's the phrase) lol!
Fabulous SC photo.
I will be a bit limited in commenting on your photos until I am up and running again. Only able to type with one finger at the moment following a wrist fracture and it is slow going.
Great use of selective colour Taffy. I have tried SC once before but can't remember how I did it. Don't give up on the insects, although I have been looking for them lately and can't find any.
Elegance was a great word used to describe this - do like the use of the s/c against the b&w - really does pop out that red leaf and its texture. For me, insects have been almost as rare as the butterfly this year.
