As a break from landscapes...here's a different shot. Shadows were long when we were finishing up our round on our last day on the course. I thought it would be more fun for us to have a shadow shot than a conventional one.
@golftragic Thanks! Played much better on second day. Rented clubs so was more used to them (very nice Taylor Made). And the course did NOT have 99 bunkers! First day was all about the traps so not much fun, but beautiful scenery. Second day game was back, but we didn't keep score and just played for fun. I did okay overall on day 2.
@ukandie1 Day 1 was SO frustrating! Sand stayed metaphorically! YES re the cemetery...I'm around off and on so will connect via email/text about dates that would work. Midweek will be best for me.
@taffy Sounds like pretty normal pattern of playing golf to me Taffy. We tried to play on Saturday, first game back after our trip. We're having a terribly wet and windy spell of weather currently so fingers were crossed. Started a persistent drizzle after around 3 holes, got us all pretty damp then cleared up. But after another 6 holes it came down in torrents, we all got drenched and quit paddling around the course - us and a heck of a lot of others too. On bunkers/traps our management seems to obsessed by them, the deeper the better, so we have over 260 between the two courses. Very tough unless you're one helluva lot better player than I am. My record for bunkers is 14 in one round!!
