Beach Grass by taffy

Beach Grass

Taken on Bonners Landing beach, Beaver Island; processed in Textures and LR.
Lots of lightening, thunder, and rain, with power outages throughout the night.
Cool picture.

Just beautiful. It looks like you gathered grasses and put them on some textured linen vellum. Would be such a wonderful square note card! 😊

@jgpittenger It was actually a pretty lame way to do it. I used the circle feature on the left hand side of masking choices. So that meant that the overlay I was using in textures was not applied to the grass/shadows within the circle. That's why you see the sand texture in the center -- the overlay softened and cleaned up up a fair amount outside the circle.

@taffy Ah! That makes sense and it’s still brilliant

Our oldest granddaughter lives near White Heath so I have that town on my weather app. I have been constantly getting notifications for storms or heat advisories.
