I took out my macro and chased some dragonflies around until I could get close enough to a non-moving one. I find these such interesting creatures and wonder how many were inspirations for TV and film aliens.
Oh yes my favourite insect! Such fabulous faces with those eyes! Brilliant in the air like a helicopter they have such clever flight patterns. They really are the hunters of the sky! Definitely models for monster movies!
