We saw some huge birds on the beach and were sure they were eagles. I ran for the camera which already had the right lens, crept down to the beach, was able to get the shot...but sadly it was a turkey vulture instead. That was late afternoon. A few hours later, the sky turned pink, so rather than pick one of the two to post, I combined them.
Nice sky replacement. One thought…the sky looks as if light is coming from behind him but the head looks as if it is coming from viewer’s right and front
@jgpittenger I think the lighting on the face was from my post processing and lifting shadows. The light was behind him/her and to the left, just higher in the sky of course than with the sunset. Do you think I should darken its face?
