Fifteen

My get-pushed partner challenged me to stand in one place and take 15 photographs without moving. Then, I was to select my 5 favorites to make a collage. I may have been the first one to introduce this challenge to the get-pushed community. I got it from B&H Photo. Their version has you take two dozen unique photographs.
The location is the Old Hill Burying Ground in Concord, Massachusetts. It was the first burying ground used by the settlers of Concord. The grave marker in the lower left is of Rev. William Emerson, Sr., grandfather of Ralph Waldo Emerson. Rev. Emerson was a chaplain in the continental army during the American Revolution. He died of "camp fever" in 1776 when returning from a campaign in Rutland, Vermont.
Ralph is buried a mile or two away in Sleepy Hollow Cemetery.
@jacqbb Thanks for the challenge. In the past, I have allowed myself to pivot in place so that I didn't strain any muscles trying to twist to view something behind me. Today, I really did plant my feet and didn't move them.
I like this exercise. You end up with some photographs that you wouldn't ordinarily have thought to take, like the texture of the wood in the center photo.

Great challenge to do, you did really well hear. Great variety and texture.

@jacqbb BTW, I told you that I hate making collages. That was a bit misleading. I just find it difficult to use the software to get the collage that I want.

That is a great idea and I like the result, i.e. multiple sides of a same place in a coherent collage. Because the light and the tones are quite the same by definition, everything is consistent.

@tdaug80 I use Pixlr or a photo collage app and they give me enough templates to choose from. What do you use?

@jacqbb I use Photoshop Elements. It is very easy to make a collage, but rather difficult to modify what the program comes up with. I'll have to look at the programs you mentioned.
