My intention was to just photograph the upside down image in the glass, and turn my image upside down to bring them right-side up. Those attempts were difficult to get good focus. Keeping my subject in the background and the reflection off to the side gave a much more pleasing result.
I find this image quite interesting :1) It is not just a subject and its reflection, it is a whole environment where the subject and the reflection appear in different contexts and with different focus. 2) The reflection is more complex than usual, it is both upside down and left right. 3) There is a yellow reflection echo in the foot of the glass.
The combination of colours makes the interesting parts of the picture pop up from the background. I have learnt quite a few things here that I will try to use.
