My get-pushed partner challenged me to try white on white. As I was thinking about what would make a good subject, I realized that I just ate the last two white eggs for breakfast. In New England, our eggs usually come in brown shells.
Anne, thanks for the challenge. I've often thought white on white was kind of pointless because of the lack of contrast. With the right subject, though, it can make a good photograph. I have another idea that I'll try tomorrow or Friday. @365anne
@casablanca Do they bring white eggs in for Easter so that you can dye them? That used to be the only time we saw white eggs in New England. Now, they are usually available. Still, the brown ones are more common.
@tdaug80 No, egg dyeing is not common here though it is in Germany, Switzerland and Austria. Sometimes the posh supermarkets stock white eggs but you tend to pay more for them. Quite the reversal!
Hi, sorry, this didnt come up on my notifications for some reason! This is great, I am pleased that you found a way to do this so effectively, despite reservations
