Walking Through the Scrub

I have no idea what this very strange looking small bug is. It was only a few mm long.

It is pictured here walking up my son's arm. Those things sticking up are hair. Love the way he was lifting his leg up here presumably to step over the hairs.

I can't be bothered trying to work out what it was. Maybe the Macro Queen @888rachel can identify it.
