Day 1 - The Best Laid Plans of Mice . . . .

. . . . and (Old) Men.

Arrived at our first night stopover in Springsure (Pop'n 1,100) only to discover that I hadn't collected the power cord for the laptop. The battery is buggered so no cord, no power. We managed to get one in Emerald the next day from a farmer (but that's another story) so we are now back on line.

Just a couple of Brolgas I stalked through the scrub to kick the trip off. Always great to come across these iconic birds.
