Another shot from the small town of Hughenden which just keeps on giving.
This park stretches quite a distance along the opposite bank of the Flinders River to the town centre and is just fabulous.
Apart from the beautiful green lawn (thanks no doubt to recent and quite rare rainfall) and the obligatory windmill, there are numerous large rocks scattered throughout the park most of which have plaques commemorating the lives and times of families and individuals who pioneered life in the Hughenden area.
What a brilliant idea to take these tributes out of rarely visited cemeteries and place them in the middle of the town park for all to see and appreciate.
