This time it is the flower of one of my Aechmeas. I don't know which particular one since I obtained it before I was interested enough to worry about the actual variety. The plant is pretty ordinary but the flower is very nice and is the home to quite a number of bugs. Keith would have had a field day.
Beautiful flower. I can see more detail when viewed large. The ant on the right shows up a little better and there are pretty water droplets on the left near the yellow blossom. Good job!
Such an intricate flower, captured so nicely in this photo. It's such a delight to see bright, colorful images when everything around me here is boring in it's drab winter attire.
