Grevillea "Moonlight"

The flowers of the beautiful Grevillea "Moonlight" taken over at our son's place. Moonlight is one of the many Grevillea hybrids that have been developed over recent years.
Nice shot Poppo. They are great for attracting the honeyeaters.

This is a beautiful plant - do they have a smell as pretty as they look? Great detail in your shot.

@milaniet The flowers of most Grevilleas are heavy with honey and they smell a lot like a sort of honey.

So glad we have the option to view pictures in a larger format. That gave me the chance to study the details of this most unique flower. Australia has all the neat stuff!

@lyndemc Grevillea flowers are very interesting but don't forget we have no mountains, no rivers, no snow, Just a wide brown land as Dorothea Mackellar so eloquently called it.
