Back into the city on a beautiful autumn day today and time to get a shot of Post Office Square at lunchtime with the GPO as the backdrop.
Steps alongside the silver circular "thing" lead down to a number of lower level stores including, well at least 10 years ago, an excellent pie shop and an equally excellent kebab shop. I was a frequent patron of both back in the bad old days ie when I worked.
I am very busy at present and consequently am way behind on my comments on your pics. Unfortunately, things are unlikely to get better for some time. My apologies but I do look at everyone's postings.
@digitalrn The rain may never fall till after sundown
By eight the morning fog must disappear . . .
I've never paid attention Rick but I presume there is appropriate drainage. I've been down there plenty of times when it was raining and never had to resort to swimming and the kebabs weren't at all soggy.
Wow what a beautiful day. Maybe we should move to Brisbane, it has gone pretty chilly here the last couple of days. Real deck chairs too. David and I were only saying a few days ago that you don't see proper deck chairs any more. Now I know why, they are all in Queensland.
I never imagined when joining 365 that I'd end up falling in love with a city so far away. Brisbane has such character and charm, at least according to the way you're presenting it (and I like your view very much).
The weather is certainly bringing the crowds out to enjoy the sunshine. Know that busy feeling well but took time this morning to stroll through your My Brisbane series and what a joyful stroll it was. Must go and stay there a while. We seem to have only been passing through for about the last ten years.

Thanks for your comments everyone
