The Roma Street Parkland is located in the centre of Brisbane and was built on the site of the old Roma Street railway goods yards. The parkland was opened in 2001 and covers 16 hectares.
We visited the Parkland over 10 years ago and thought it was pretty good but had never revisited. Until today that is when we took Maggie and we were gobschmacked and not for the first time since I stared 365 were left wondering how come we have not been regular visitors.
They were fantastic and have come a long way since our first visit.
Another thankyou to 365.
Note how the blue and white flowers have been planted to look as if they are flowing out of the barrel. Best on black
That barrel spilling color was the first thing that caught my eye. Wow! — to all the color here in this beautiful garden. And I'm thanking 365 too for the inspiration in getting you to return to this place.
Wow what a burst of colour. I too noticed the barrel of flowers first, my husband is always amazed at the amount of colour here when it's winter. I know what you mean about returning Poppo as I love revisiting the Botanical Gardens here in Sydney.
