Bougainvillea

Very busy again today so I just grabbed a shot of this Bougainvillea that is growing in some one's yard a few streets away from our place. It is a real head turner as you drive past. I think it is red - would you agree?

My apologies but I am going to be flat chat for the next few days and may not have time for many comments. But I'll still be watching

Magnificent colour. We had a bougainvillea but had to take it out because its roots took up the pavers and the plant wrecked the lattice work on our patio too. It is a bugger to get rid of.

Interesting comments shared back and forth here about this type of bush. It's beauty belies its problematic behavior. But I still want one in my yard! (Not gonna happen though so I'll just enjoy your pictures of them.)
