Nanna spent 6 days in hospital last week (I picked her up Monday morning) and from her room, we could just see bits of the city. We couldn't work out what was happening with the lights in the city as they were different colours.
So this evening, we went in to Southbank to investigate.
Looks as if they are using different coloured lighting schemes on the buildings and tonight, everything was blue.
When I first got there and was setting the tripod up, they were cycling through the colours and I got all excited - it was brilliant. By the time I was ready, it was stuck on blue and I then realised what was going on. Might try for another colour some other night.
As always, best on black
So beautifully blue. I hear there is going to be interesting lights going on this weekend, and perhaps even fireworks. All for the G20 Cultural Events.
This is absolutely fantastic Terry! I love the blues and the reflections of the blues in the water and they work so well that blue sky so it's like a blue hour photograph. Fav
Nice long exposure Terry, love the colours on the water.
Yes I just am too busy lately, I can't find time to post and comment, not enough hours in the day :(
