If Brisbane can't be proud of its treatment of heritage buildings, it can certainly be very proud of the South Bank Parklands which includes the man made City Beach.
The irony of the fact that it is built on a site that once contained a heap of old buildings that were knocked down to make way for World Expo 88 is not lost on me :-(
What a place to spend some time in the city, beautifully capture lighting and depth of field Terry, we always spend time here when we visit our niece and her family in Shorneciff:)
You were brave to go down there in school holidays, although it doesn't look too packed. Did you go for a swim? About the sigma - I didn't drop it overboard, but perhaps should of, as the photos are not the best :(
Charlie's cousin is currently visiting us, and he is a world traveler. Just today he told me about this beach, and it's nice to see it in your project on the same day!
Great capture the contrast between the beach and the city look great.
