Another pic from my trip up Mt Cootha on Friday night taken just 4 minutes after the one in my main album and you can see how far the moon has ascended in that short time. I have already had to zoom out a bit to keep the moon in the frame.
@shepherdmanswife@taffy The shot I had in mind was the moon right on the horizon and down below the level of the buildings. The first shot I took (not enough exposure) was at 7:46 and the moon was just at the level of the tallest building. By the time I had the settings sorted out, it was 7:49. The shot in my main album was 7:50. This one is 7:54 and it is well above the city.
So if you do all the maths, 5 minutes earlier would have had my first decent shot at 7:44 and the moon would have been sitting amoungst the buildings.
I always enjoy seeing your night shots of the city and this one is no exception. I love the club they have a little more interest. Beautiful night shot.
