On the way into Munurru camp a couple of days earlier, we had made a pretty rocky crossing of the King Edward River. When we were leaving this morning heading back out, I asked Ben if he could drop me off so I could get some shots of the bus going through the crossing but he said not allowed as it would mean I would have to walk the crossing but he promised that he would set things up so I could get some shots later in the day.
We stopped at Drysdale River Crossing for lunch and while we were setting up, he went back up the road and then came flying back down the road at a great rate of knots.
Brilliant and I thought it was pretty good of him. Mind you it would have been good fun for him also.
BTW, if the quote at the start is unfamiliar to you, you obviously don't have kids/grandkids.
