Day 8 - Drysdale Station Camp by terryliv

Day 8 - Drysdale Station Camp

I haven't shown a shot of one of our accommodation sites yet so here is the one at Drysdale Station. We would erect our tent each night and then dismantle and pack it up each morning - each activity taking about 10 minutes. As you can see, the whole atmosphere on the tour was very relaxed and friendly.
Drysdale Station is one of a number of cattle stations that caters for tourists and manage to supplement their income very nicely thank you very much.
No need to comment, just telling a story.

Fascinating! There's about 20 of these in one of our camp sites now that have caught my attention :)

Tent pegs can be a bugger to drive into hard ground. Hubby volunteered on last years Cycle Qld erecting 168 tents each day and dropping them the next morning in a team of 5 vollies. :)

@888rachel Juts to prove I wasn't discriminating, the next shot I took was of her hubby who had even less on. This particular couple were Kiwis.

That looks like a great portable base camp. Did every tent come with a shovel and a toilet roll :)
