Day 15 - Brumbies and Termites

A mob of Brumbies grazing amongst the termite mounds in the Tanami. These are only small mounds and don't be fooled by the apparent greenery. Looking across the top it appears much thicker than it really is.
Brumby is the Oz word for a feral or wild, free roaming horse.
Taken through the window of the bus as we bounced along the Tanami Track at about 80kph.

We have now left the map at http://365project.org/terryliv/from-the-archiv/2015-01-07 showing our tour up to the start of Day 15.

I thought the brumbies were rock formations. Now it urns out they're animals. Funny country yours.
