Day 15 - Tanami Desert by terryliv

Day 15 - Tanami Desert

Travelling over 1000kms through a place like the Tanami Desert is not about the big ticket attractions that you see but rather its about the journey itself and the fact that there is nothing to see. I find this nothingness totally fascinating.
Probably at the time I took this shot, half the group would have been nodding off but I was completely absorbed in the nothingness. Seinfeld would have loved it.
Taken through the window of the bus as we bounced along the Tanami Track at about 80kph.
Don't bother to comment - just telling a story

We have now left the map at http://365project.org/terryliv/from-the-archiv/2015-01-07 showing our tour up to the start of Day 15.

I don't know …. I see a lot of beauty in this…. Dirt, dust, flies, heat, sweat….. and a nice cold beer at the camp fire.

It has it's own fascination of emptiness and looks peaceful, so different to the hustle and bustle many experience in everyday life.

A scene so far removed from the 'big smoke'. Your capture tells the story.

After sunset is when it starts to liven up.The local inhabitants have more sense than humans and venture out when it cools down,Nice shot Terry.
