This is the view from the front stoop of the house we bought just two years ago. That's the tree that we both love, the one I thought about painting for him because the way the light hits it at sunrise. This is the view that we have every morning while we sit and touch base, trying to remain friends, to hold on to what he calls the best pieces of us, while we navigate what divorce will look like for our family.
And it's hard.
And sometimes it's difficult to stay on top of everything. And this was one of those weeks where responsibilities slipped.
On other notes: School is starting to settle into a manageable and fun investment in the future--so long as I stay focused. ;) The kids are doing well, and the eldest is getting closer to high school graduation. Which is awesome! I don't know why he won't go to the same college as me though. It sounded like a whole lot of fun to run across campus, waving my arms in the air yelling at him to have lunch with me. ;)
Also:
Thank you all for comments on previous photos, I'm trying to get caught up-- it's just taking a while.
I hope you all have a beautiful day... with sunshine. This winter weather is blahhhhh.
