Neowise Comet July 18, 2020

Here's my version of the space visitor. Taken looking Northwest on the East side of the Olympic Mountains, next to the Hood Canal, Washington, USA Going back tonight for more!
Lovely... you are lucky to get to see the comet.

Very good shot! After looking through several shots I "may" have caught the tail of the comet, but didn't see until I developed the photos.

How exciting, I wish we could see it in the southern hemisphere.

@thewatersphotos Yes, at our vantage point, the comet was quite light to the naked eye, and we were amazed how much better it showed up through the camera!

@kvphoto @onewing I was under the impression it was a world wide thing, luckily you have so many friends that share their photos! Thanks for your nice comments.

@theredcamera yes... it is worldwide but where I live there are lots of trees, lights, etc... and honestly I did not get out and try to see it when we had clear weather... we’ve had many days of overcast/cloud cover... basically I missed my opportunity.
