Just part of the collection of a gentleman in our town. On sunny days, he pulls a few of his cars to the front of his lot, close to the road for folks to view. They are not "For Sale", although I suppose for the "right price" he might entertain the thought!
He was great to talk to and showed me his collection and gave details of where he found the cars and what he was doing to them. I hope to share several of the photos I took that day.
I notice they have the same numberplate. What a super collection and I can imagine how much pleasure he takes in talking about his cars to interested people.
I have been thinking lately how mundane car shapes are these days. The colors and shapes are similar and it's difficult for me to determine what brand is which. These vintage cars, although probably not aerodynamic and economical on fuel and lacking many of the safety features we have today, have personality. Nice capture.
How fun! I so agree with what Kathy commented. The oldies have so much personality! How kind of the owner to take the time to talk with you. You did a great job composing this. I'm looking forward to your upcoming shots.
We took a walk down Main Street in Santa Monica and there were like 40 classic cars parked on the street with all their proud owners surrounding the area. Not very Covid safe, but so cool. This shot reminds me that I should have taken some photos
