It was a cold and windy day at Fort Monroe where the Missus and I were waiting to see the aircraft carrier USS Gerald R. Ford (CVN-78) set off on its first deployment. While we waited there were plenty of brown pelicans to shoot. I managed to catch this one just as it entered the water, diving after a fishy lunch.
