Tradition

We have developed a tradition whereby every year my husband hides this terrifying troll/goblin/elf thing somewhere in the house at Christmas, usually on the tree but not always. He inherited it from his German mother so it might be Krampus-related, especially since it is holding a stick. I have threatened to throw it away many times but have agreed that he can keep it as long as I never have to see it. This year he got the grandchildren involved in decorating the tree, and guess what was the first thing they all wanted to tell me… 😄
he's quite a cute little elf thing

He does look a bit creepy but love the tradition. Fun that the grandchildren are now involved. Maybe this little chap can go and live with one of them!

@delboy207 We always try to buy a bauble wherever we travel to. We only spent a day in Budapest as part of a river cruise, but we thought it was a beautiful and interesting city.
