Bromsgrove by tinley23

Bromsgrove

I live near, and use regularly, the Birmingham Cross City rail line. It runs from Lichfield in the north to Bromsgrove in the south. I have never stayed on the line long enough to reach Bromsgrove so today my sister and I went on a mission to check it out. To be honest, it was a bit meh! However it did have a great church (closed) and an awesome coffee shop, where we started our day with breakfast. She had eggs, I had sausage sarnie - both yummy!
I do love an adventure! Glad that the food and coffee was great at the end of the line😃

Your breakfast sounds excellent. I like staying on a tram or train line to the end and then walking backing several stations/stops and catching it home again.

Your drinks looked so yummy! I love the way you captured them.

A great pov to capture these attractive (and delicious, I'm sure) coffees. And there is even a heart for this month! (Your trip sounds like a fun little adventure, even if a bit meh. We are all looking for stay-at-home adventures these days.)

Looks very tasty, even though I am strictly an Americano (w/o milk) kind of girl! :-)

I like it!

Coffee looks stylish. I think Bromsgrove may have some redeeming features though maybe not that accessible from the railway station!

@speedwell Yes, we definitely want to come back in better times and see the Avoncroft Museum, and other places nearby, eg Hanbury Hall and maybe Droitwich Spa. We spent many happy times as children on day trips to the Lickey Hill which I don’t think is too far. I take it you live in or near Bromsgrove? We may pick your brains for tips next time 😊
