I loved how close and happy these two were, on a walkway between Grand Central and the Bullring in Birmingham. I wish I’d been brave enough to go over and suggest they put their bag on the other side of them. Luckily it was fairly early and not many people about, but you do worry don’t you?
A great candid and composition, Lesley! I'm so naive- when you said about wishing to have them move their bag, I thought you meant for your capture. Duh. Delightful! Fav
Great shot!
It’s amazing how many people are lackadaisical about their bags and stuff

What a great candid and composition. I worry about this too especially seeing girls with their mobile phones in their back pockets ripe for the picking.
How sweet! Lovely capture. I've had a handbag stolen (in France) in that way. Sitting having lunch on a roadside café with a friend. Bag by my feet (behind a railing), roadside. Motorbike sidles up on the road, passenger grabs bag and motorbike speeds off. You haven't got a hope! Couldn't even get back into my own house as the keys were in that bag ... not to mention driving licence, car keys, purse, phone, etc. etc. etc. We'd just moved into our house there too, and I had a gazillion deliveries coming and no phone. Once I got the locksmith round and re-gained entry, my friend came and sat in our house (to receive deliveries) while I went out and did the police report, got car key replaced, etc. etc. etc. And of course, where's a husband when you need him, but travelling somewhere for work!!! I'm still angry about that and it was about 10 years ago.
@jamibann Oh that is such a horrid thing to happen. When you lose your bag, you lose so much more than just that. It happened to one of my relatives too, but she had her bag taken from her shopping trolly. As you say, car keys, house keys, purse, etc all gone. It really does stay in your memory for ever.
