Giant Haystacks by tinley23

Giant Haystacks

They looked huge from the bedroom window, but not so much in real life.

I must admit when I first thought ‘Giant Haystacks’ my old brain immediately conjured up an image of the 70s/80s British wrestler. It’s what happens when I’m in the house all alone all day (Dirk and Rosie are at Chatsworth House Country Fair today with the Greyhound Trust).
Oh my goodness … big daddy popped in my head!
I seem to remember they were quite entertaining…

Great photo! Very thought provoking

Those were the days when wrestling was TV entertainment especially with the tag teams.
Lovely rural scene.

I like how you've perched a mast on a pile of bales :-)

@anniesue Haha that’s brilliant. I couldn’t have done it so well if I’d tried.

Who would have thought hay bales could look so good! A bird on one and the mast coming out of the other.

A lovely rural shot, with the harvest well underway! I too remember Giant Haystacks, my dad used to be an avid watcher of the wrestling on Saturday afternoons.
