We’re having a sort-out of the loft as it’s full of stuff we never use and never will. One box contained loads of my OU coursework etc from the 1990s, including these cassettes. Took me right back…
Fabulous! My Dad did two degrees with the OU. I hold them in a lot of affection! The early morning programmes on BBC2 in the black and white days, the cassette tapes, the Summer Schools..... ahh, the nostalgia! Love this. Made me smile.
Oh, I did my degree in French and English with the Open University! Achieved it when I was 40. I opted for an HND after leaving school, but over the years a degree became something I really wanted. Happy to have it, and very unlikely to ever need it! I don't have any cassettes remaining, but I still have all the course work! Fun times. :-)
I love this, I have tons of both music and different language courses! I cannot part with them! My favourite music from the sixties is just too special 😁
Cassette tapes! Love it! In a recent clean-up, I made myself part with not only cassettes, but a cassette player too! I actually donated the player to a charity group- maybe garbage or maybe a treasure for someone :-)
