I am not sure what is going on with the weather this summer, but I am loving it! Normally by July it is hot humid and uncomfortable, yet instead we have comfortably hot sunny days where you can actually go out and enjoy all that Chicago has to offer and warm evenings that are great to spend outside.
Needless today that is what we have been up to. Spent the day at the lakefront and then a nice meal alfresco. No air conditioning needed!
Wonderful beach and city scape. We must be having your weather...we are in the high 90's+ for at least the next 5-7 days! Very unusual for us!!! This is a beauty!

I am trying my hardest to sell Chicago as the go to destination in the US....lol! Just don't read the news about the gun crime, though to be honest it is mostly gang related and in only in certain neighborhoods (like most urban cities there are always no go areas)
