Brutally cold day outside so I stayed in all day. This was my just in case shot, I had intended to do something clever, but I spent most of the time trying to organize all the images on my computer and hard drives into a more manageable system (still not finished). So another view from my house. Cold again for the next few days, no idea what I am going to do.
Its very cold here in Michigan too! There are always inside photos - water or candle shot, perhaps? :-) Your street/neighborhood looks really nice. I like that all the houses are so different (from what I can tell from this shot).
The sharp details and contrasts really emphasize how cold it is. Lovely light, though... but it won't keep you warm if you go outside! It just looks empty and cold. Good luck!
Great B&W it certainly looks crisp! Good luck sorting through photos. I did the same thing over the christmas holidays. I ended up moving my entire collection on to an external drive and starting this year fresh. Drastic but effective.
Just finished my similar 'organizational' project...so time consuming! As Richard pointed out, great tonal range and tack sharp as well...the latter which is very hard to pull off on 365 given the resampling this site does. Nice!!
