Normally at this time of the year the lake front is a heaving mass of ice, but for the past few years, and especially this year it has been so mild there has been very little if any freezing of the lake.
To me this shot screams out to be b&w, but I said I was going to do a month of color, so trying to stick with it!

You're too hard on yourself with your colour shots I think. You know that I'm a great fan of your B&W shots as they are so dramatic - maybe it's not the colour that's bothering you but rather the subtlety of these images. Keep up the good work!
