As I stepped out of my room this morning , on my way to breakfast, I paused, drawn to the scene unfolding on the rooftop just below me. A man worked to clean the blue pool waters. Above him, the city stretched out in layers — unfinished buildings, colorful rooftops, and a faint morning haze blending with the overcast sky.
