Needle threader by wakelys

Needle threader

Not only did I find the needle threader in my sewing tin but also only just realised after many years that there is a thread cutter on the right hand end of the threader. Doh!!!
Guess that I haven’t used it that often.
Never seen a needle threader with a cutter on it too, very handy.

First time I have ever seen this! You did a marvelous job of getting all the details so well in this close up

Lovely. The reflection in the eye of the threader is beautiful and the texture of the fabric is the perfect background

You learn something every day (I didn’t know that) not that I do a lot of sewing mind you.

What a handy tool to have especially as we grow older and the eyesight not so good! Great focus, light and presenttoon and the "flash of red! "

I particularly like the light on the thimble. The needle sews straight even though it's quite crooked?

I have never been able to work these. Particularly like the thimble.

I like how you composed this. Sounds like a very useful object.

I never remember about needle threaders until I have spent a few minutes licking the end of the thread and trying to get it through the eye.....

@casablanca I’m the same. I have an auto threader on my sewing machine and forget about that as well.

@randystreat I think that his particular needle is bent because I forced it through leather. It is my skill or lack of it the determines how straight the stitch is.🤣

Love the contrast! I have never seen a thread cutter before. Brilliant.
