Seed Heads. by wendyfrost

Seed Heads.

The remains of some of the scabious flowers I am not sure if the seed is inside the head or if it was the fluffy part that brushed off as I want to set them for more plants . The scabious plant only cost me £3 in the winter from Morrisons and has flowered right through the summer drought and more flowers to come I give it top marks.
Trying to work out what it is they remind me of. It might be Gollum.

I’m going to have to look up this plant. Sounds like a winner and you have drought like we do.

A lovely composition, Wendy! I like the grey background to show off those spikey seed heads, and the green glass of the vase is really beautiful! Fav

I like the colors here- there's a very nice contrast between the green vase and the gray background with the color of the dried flowers falling nicely in between.
