Guess what it is if you like. But I love it.
Tonight is our cello quartet practice. I was practicing very hard in the last two days. Holiday made my fingers so clumsy. I hope that I don’t stuff up too much tonight. Come back to comment later tonight.
This will be a big event for you! I'm practicing in a ghostlike fashion with any instrument I can find - none of them is a cello - that takes dedication!
This is pure inspiration - the planet earth and the whole unknown abstract universe near it! It simply says us: don't be limited by ordinary shape to which you get used - expand the boundaries of your mind! You made really good decision to continue this thought with using our imagination - this works well! I like textures of the both surfaces and reflection! Nice work!
I think it's a rock too. But the even surface and the almost straight sides have me doubting. Your title suits this picture. It looks like it was taken from space.
i look at it in reverse - the stone is earth, the circle is the amount of atmosphere in relation to that and the blue is the amount of water in relation to the earth - finite and all we've got to work with
@savannah51@maggiemae@ksyu@sturnus@alicias@janetoner@dakotaburns@ianrm@kali66@onewing Thank you for giving it a guess. It is a wet patch on the concrete. The uneven surface retained some water. Based on Aaron Siskind, try to move the view point around the object in, something magic or meaningful is most likely to form. How enlightening. I learned so much from this challenge.
Ps.I did not put this shot as challenge shot, because I like retain colours in it.
I was going to guess that is was water on pavement maybe reacting to some oil on the ground. So I see I wasn't too far off in my guess. I hope your practice went well. I'm sure you are much better than you think you are- I detect a very humble spirit in you! Nicely creative shot for us to play with our imaginations.
looks fantastic large! or even small. I would say a roadway, or driveway in a patch of sunlight with a couple of potholes or indentations filled with water. A fav for me! Beautifully composed.
Ps.I did not put this shot as challenge shot, because I like retain colours in it.
