It was so hot this morning, I reluctantly went out to run to the bank before they closed at 1:00. Every street leading up to Hyde Park Square was blocked with a detour. I didn't know what was up until I passed this big balloon display with a 3 on top.
The last Saturday in June is the Hyde Park Blast, a 4-mile run looping through the historic neighborhood benefiting the fight to cure cancer. Looks like I passed the 3-mile marker. It was a gorgeous day, just 90º. I don't know how runners run in this weather.
