Paper Wasp Nest

Out early this morning with the macro lens looking for webs and dew. Didn't find any, but I did find this old paper wasp nest from last year. Liked how the algae growing on it was shining in the sunlight

Excellent. Glad there were no paper wasps there. My sister in law had a really bad reaction to a paper wasp sting when she lived in New Zealand and ended up in hospital.
